You may need to do this tapping every day for a certain period of time or it may be cleared with just a few rounds of tapping. However long this process takes, once the energy disturbance has been completely cleared from the body, the negative emotions will have been released and you will be able to think about the memory or deal with the situation with no painful emotional reaction.
